About Me

Hi, my name is Jeremy Rhizor. I’m working to revive sacred drama—one of humanity’s great artistic genres. I also play the violin. Most of my violin playing is on a new instrument by Gabriela Guadalahara that’s inspired by Italian Baroque violins from the mid-seventeenth century. I founded an organization called the Academy of Sacred Drama in the New York City area that’s championing the revival of the sacred drama genre through research and performances. You can read more about my work in my artist biography.

While you’re here, I hope that you’ll read my musings on religion and music by subscribing to Rhetorical Renovation, my newsletter. The newsletter also has information about my performances and appearances. You can check out my calendar for scheduled performances and events (online and in person) as well. Thanks for visiting!
